February Monthly Bullet Journal Spread

February is just around the corner, which means a new monthly spread and new weekly layouts for me! February is a great time to check in on the goals or resolutions you set in January. How are they coming along? The trick here is not to beat yourself up if you’re feeling behind on your annual goals. There is still plenty of time to take massive and make massive change this year.

If you need to rollover any projects or action items from January, now’s your chance to assign them to a day or week in February and get them done, or at least started, if they’re bigger projects.

As far as February themes go, I got a little giddy and cheesy with the romance and heart theme since Valentine’s Day and my wedding anniversary are happening this month.

Other theme ideas are flowy flowers, winter if you live some with harsh long winters like me, birds or bird feeding as many birds are starting to return to warmer climates, Lunar New Year, Mardi Gras or Carnival.

What To Track In Your February Bullet Journal

Bullet journaling is a great way to keep your thoughts, goals, dreams, finances, meal plans and everything in between organized.

If you’re looking for some ideas on what else to add to your monthly spread page(s), here are some things you could add in:

  • Monthly goals, rolling over anything unfinished from January
  • To-do’s, break down your goals into specific tasks to do
  • Exercise, calories, macros or water intake
  • Self-care ideas and tracking
  • Budgeting
  • People to connect with this month
  • Track cheat days or no-cheat days, this could be for food or money, like a no-spend day or oops I splurged today day

What To Doodle In Your February Bullet Journal Spread

For some of us, just outlining the days of the month with a heading and splash of color is enough for our monthly spread. For some of us, bullet journaling is a creative outlet and we want to take the time to create something funky or beautiful.

Once you have your calendar and any list-type boxes laid out, it’s time to add in some color, doodles, and creative flair to spice up your white space on your monthly spread page. In addition to some doodles, I also like to squeeze in an inspiring quote each month, and sometimes each week!

I usually think of a theme or feeling for the month and then try to use colors and designs to portray it. For February – I went all-in with warm, fuzzy, pink, and red hearts, gifts, and cuties.

Your theme could be more bright, gold, purple Mardi Gras or Lunar New Year decor; or more natural greens and browns with bird and plant doodles. Or it doesn’t have to be February-specific at all. You could choose a February theme that simply has to do with something you love – like pets; or succulents; or crystals and the moon. As always, the ideas are endless.
