Are you a planner and notebook junkie, yet…. you can never seem to find the perfect one??

I can’t tell you how many half-used or unused notebooks and planners I have stacked up in boxes, cabinets, and taking up space on my bookshelf. Some were just too pretty to write in and while some seemed like they would turn my life into a productivity powerhouse, they started collecting dust before Q1 was even over.

Admittedly, I didn’t really start exploring bullet journaling until my therapist pointed out that I needed a hobby. I needed to make time, daily, to do something I love, that was just for me. The only rule was that it couldn’t be work related. It had been so long since I had done something purely for me, just because I wanted to, that I couldn’t even think of anything to do. When asked what I like to do, that would help me relax…. I couldn’t think of anything!

After stewing on this for several weeks, I remembered how much I loved to draw and paint when I was younger. Coincidentally, I also love, love, love to make lots of lists and plans of everything from day to day activities to bigger things like vacations and bucket list trips.

I finally gave bullet journaling a try at the end of the wild ride we call 2020 and am now dying to share the simple joy of bullet journaling with anyone else who’s looking to rediscover your creative side and finally set all those doodles living inside your head free on paper and maybe even reclaim our time and productivity while we’re at it.
